Beyond memory tweaks, it gives you the ability to adjust the per-core frequencies for enhanced performance; Going beyond even the stock boost frequencies. But that’s not the only way to enhance performance on Intel’s latest K-series CPUs. It also has an automated overclocking tool called 200S Boost Overclocking, which can make a real difference to how well your system performs.

It’s not adjusting core clock speeds or giving it access to more power, though; it’s enhancing the frequencies of CPU interconnect technologies and memory performance. What is Intel 200S Boost?

Intel Core 200S Boost is an overclocking profile which applies three distinct frequency adjustments to your CPU and memory, with defined voltage limits:

Fabric (also known as SoC Tile/NGU): Increase clock speed from 2.6 GHz to 3.2 GHz and system agent voltage (VccSA) to less than or equal to 1.2V.
Die-to-die: Increase clock speed from 2.1 GHz to 3.2 GHz, with VccSA set to less than or equal to 1.2V.
DDR5 memory: Frequency increased from 6,400 MT/s to 8,000 MT/s. VDD2 memory controller power supply set to less than or equal to 1.4V. VccSA is set to less than or equal to 1.2V. Module VDDQ and VDD set to less than or equal to 1.4V
These changes should result in an overall improvement in CPU performance, especially in latency-sensitive tasks like gaming. It also doesn’t impact your warranty for the Intel CPU, unlike some overclocking.

Intel 200S Boost is supported by all K-series processors in the latest desktop generation of Core Ultra 200 CPUs. That includes:

The final component is a compatible DDR5 memory kit. Only two sticks are currently supported by Intel 200S Boost overclocking profiles, and you’ll need a kit that’s rated with XMP profiles up to at least 8,000 MT/s, like Biwin’s Black Opal DW100 kits.
